About NSPPL:


The National Syrian Project for Prosthetic Limbs is a nonprofit, humanitarian organization, with centers inside Syria and Turkey.

NSPPL aims to help people who have undergone amputations as a result of Syrian War by providing them with prosthetic body parts and the appropriate rehabilitation. Established in February 2013 by a group of Syrian doctors living overseas.

Position Responsibilities and Duties:

  • To Submit and follow NSPPL’s applications in the governmental offices.
  • Identify and evaluate main governmental actors in the activity area and liaise with them
  • Collaborate and coordinate with the local authorities to facilitate the requested permissions to implement our activities.
  • Represent NSPPL in meetings with Government departments and INGO-level-fora, according to agreed scope of action.
  • To translate any documents required for coordination purposes / external relations.
  • Ensuring organizational compliance with the local government requirements.
  • Prepare and review the final Crossing borders list, follow up the cross-border request, Archive the request.
  • Book hotel and transportations for visitors and staff.
  • Assist in the recruitment process.
  • Managing staff attendance, working hours leave, time sheet and leave requests.
  • Preparing travel documents and documents related to travel allowance.
  • Coordinating with all NSPPL departments to ensure that all end of month financial documents were delivered and reviewed well.
  • Provide help and support in printing and scanning jobs.
  • Assist in Review of documents submitted for payments and creation of payment vouchers

Qualifications & requirements:

  • Bachelor degree in business administration or related field
  • A minimum of 1 years at the field.
  • Fluency in English, Turkish and Arabic.
  • Excellent writing and high level of computer literacy.
  • Demonstrated ability to coordinate complex activities, meet deadlines.
  • Demonstrated ability to work effectively as part of a team.
  • Must be flexible, adaptable and willing to perform other duties and work irregular hours.
