As an Inserter Operator:
Operate a variable speed inserter machine that mechanically stuffs an envelope with multiple inserts.

Starting Base Wage is $13.47 per hour (includes base wage of $12.25 +$1.20 p/h for 2nd and 3rd shift)

Essential Functions/Job Responsibilities:
Maintains confidentiality of CDS Global and its clients’ proprietary information.

Operates and maintains production standards on mail processing equipment.

Uses online PC to obtain necessary information to perform jobs.

Performs adjustments to stock and machines as needed.

Maintains production and quality expectations.

Performs quality and reasonability checks on jobs.

Sets up equipment to run jobs.

Reports problems to supervisor.

Interacts in cooperative and professional manner, with all levels of employees, vendors and/or clients, in team environment.

Organizes tasks and resources to complete work and meet deadlines according to established departmental procedures.

Follows CDS Global ergonomic and safety policies.

The above duties may be performed anywhere from 0-100% of the workday. Employee needs to be able to work in designated department/area and participate, if applicable, in CDS Global’s ergonomic stretching/strengthening exercise program.

  • Maintains clean, neat and orderly work environment.

Job Qualifications:
High School Diploma or GED preferred.

Personal Computer/keyboarding experience preferred.

Basic verbal and written communication skills.

Ability to compare numbers/letters on documents.

Simple math skills.

Ability to react to change and remain productive.
