What You Will Do…

As a Lead Worker:
This is a working lead position. The lead is responsible for keeping department efficient by ensuring work flows through department are accurate and timely as well as work on the line operating as needed. Monitors adherence to department standards and procedures.

Starting Base Wage is $12.25 p/h (10% shift pay for 2nd and 3rd shift or $13.47 p/h)

Essential Functions/Job Responsibilities:

  • Maintains confidentiality of CDS Global and its clients’ proprietary information.
  • Organizes, prioritizes, assigns and distributes work to employees and/or equipment based on department requirements.
  • Consults and confers with Supervisor/Manager.
  • Assists with supervisory responsibilities in absence of Supervisor/Manager.
  • Provides training and guidance to employees on essential functions, procedures and reference materials.
  • Prepares, maintains and monitors data and reports, e.g., attendance, job schedules and production statistics.
  • Performs production work following department standards and procedures.
  • Performs problem resolution with jobs and equipment.
  • Creates and maintains procedures and reference materials.
  • Monitors and/or maintains supplies and materials.
  • Interacts in cooperative and professional manner, with all levels of employees, vendors and/or clients, in team environment.
  • Ability to convey clear information to others, using verbal, written, or other appropriate communication techniques.
  • Ability to react to change and remain productive.
  • Assumes additional responsibilities as required.

The above duties may be performed anywhere from 0-100% of the workday. Employee needs to be able to work in designated department/area and participate, if applicable, in CDS Global’s ergonomic stretching/strengthening exercise program.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Basic PC knowledge and skills.
  • Experience using simple mathematical skills.
  • Good verbal and written communication skills.

Working Conditions/Physical Requirements:
(Continuous = 67-100% of workday, Frequent = 34-66% of workday, Occasional = 6-33% of workday, Rare = 1-5% of workday)

Working conditions will vary from area/department to area/department. Hours are dependent on department requirements.
