- Diploma, associate or college degree/courses in related field (Organizational Leadership, Business, Data Science, Compliance, Crisis Management, etc.)
- 1+ years of experience conducting audits or other quality control inspections
- 1+ years of experience in data manipulation using programs such as Excel or Access
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite programs (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Publisher, SharePoint, Outlook)
The mission of Amazon Global Security Operations is to mitigate security and operational risks to our associates, data, and physical assets. The Global Security Operations Center (GSOC) is responsible for providing critical support to WWOps sites and employees, providing crisis management expertise, and timely notification to global operational partners and senior leadership regarding emergent events that have impact, or have potential to impact life safety, operations, and/or the Amazon brand. Amazon is looking for a detail-oriented individual to join the Standards and Compliance team at Amazon’s GSOC in Goodyear, AZ.
- The Compliance Analyst would be responsible for auditing the processes with the GSOC to ensure consistent support for customers and stakeholders in alignment to a Crisis Management framework. The Compliance Analyst will audit and measure adherence to established policy and Amazon’s Customer Contact Tenets. This role will generate reporting to key stakeholders, providing visibility to the performance of the operation in relation to established goals and Key Performance Indicators. Lastly, the compliance Analyst will support other functions and/or projects tasked by the Standards and Compliance or GSOC Senior Leadership.
- The role requires a candidate with the ability to analyze multiple customer inputs and GSOC outputs with the goal of identifying trends that would affect efficiency, response capability, and performance. Candidates must have strong capabilities in business writing, root cause analysis, and auditing.
Shift work will be required, potentially to include nights, weekends and Public Holidays.

- Bachelor’s Degree in related field (Organizational Leadership, Business, Data Science, Compliance, Crisis Management, etc.)
- Lean Six Sigma Yellow Belt, or equivalent
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
- Strong attention to detail
- Able to use multiple software applications simultaneously (software multi-tasking)
- Proficient in data visualization tools, such as Tableau or Microsoft BI
- Knowledge in writing SQL queries
- Experience working in fast paced environments, and ability manage workload even during times of stress or escalated activity
- Ability to communicate effectively with business leaders
- Experience in an IT/Operations/Call/Command Center work environment
- Experience with critical incident management and crisis management framework
- Competency in one or all of the following foreign languages: Spanish/German/Hindi/Japanese/Castilian/French/Telugu/Italian/Portuguese/Arabic
