Revenue Cycle Training Specialist – Full Time

This job assumes responsibility for the day-to-day management of the Revenue Cycle Training & Education’s (RCT&E) training calendar and works closely with the Sr and/or Lead Revenue Cycle Training Specialists and Leadership. Assist in scheduling and coordinating classes and events within the department, provides additional support in all areas of day to day training as needed and assists with hospital and clinic system migrations and special trainings. Responsible for adding and maintaining all classes in OLN, assumes responsibility for working with RCT&E internal and external clients to ensure flawless delivery of services, completed on time and to client expectations. Assumes responsibility for the department’s email responding to class/program and access inquiries from employees, vendors and leadership and responsible for sending communications to large Ochsner groups. Also assists with research, document creation and revisions.

Education

Required – Associates degree

Preferred – Bachelor’s degree

Work Experience

Required – 2 years administrative or professional experience

Knowledge Skills and Abilities (KSAs)

Must have computer skills and dexterity required for data entry and retrieval of required job information.

Effective verbal and written communication skills and the ability to present information clearly and professionally .

Must be proficient with Windows-style applications, keyboard, and various software packages specific to role.

Strong communication and customer service skills.

Reliable transportation as travel between facilities may be required.

Job Duties

Day-to-day management of the Revenue Cycle Training and Education’s training calendar including planning dates and times for class schedules.

Enters, publishes and maintains courses and events in OLN.

Assists leadership and/or trainers with special projects, such as system migrations and workouts.

Manages departmental email account by responding to all class/program and access inquiries from employees, venders and leadership.

Assists with edits and/or updates for documentation revision through proofing and feedback. Performs revisions in a timely and accurate manner. Assists with research for course preparation.
