Business Development Executive – Middle East & Africa

MEDISCA is a fast-paced global pharmaceutical company. We have facilities in North America and Australia, employ over 450 employees globally and service the US, Canada, Asia, Middle East, Europe and the UK. This role focuses on business growth in the Middle East and Africa. Based out of Montreal, this is an exceptional role into the pharmaceutical industry; perfect for someone who is ambitious, outgoing and determined to make their mark.

The opportunity:
Grow your assigned territory; by generating sales from inactive accounts, expanding current accounts, and entering new territories

Establish yourself as a value-add resource to clients through ensuring exceptional client relationships, suggesting new revenue sources and education

Attain monthly sales objectives and monitor profit margins

Develop innovative ways to grow your territory and increase distribution

Effectively plan and conduct face to face visits to both pharmacies and physicians

Educate physicians and compounders on best practice compounding methods and products

Work collaboratively with peers to ensure a positive, high quality team culture

Skills, knowledge and abilities:
Confidence, with a bright and engaging personality and proven abilities to network is essential

Proven decision making, problem solving and negotiation skills is a must

Drive and motivation

Ability to work autonomously and be resourceful is crucial

Excellent communication skills are essential; fluent in English and French and the ability to communicate in either Arabic, Hebrew or Bahasa Malaysian

Knowledge of Microsoft Office

Valid driver’s license and passport

Experience

Required

1 – 3 years: Sales or business development

Education

Preferred

Bachelor’s degree or better in International Business or related field

Bachelor’s degree or better in Science or related field
