• Assessing the target groups’ needs for strengthening capacities in the field of peacebuilding, conflict transformation and reconciliation

• Designing and implementing training sessions and inputs for peace infrastructures on peacebuilding-related contents, such as conflict resolution, mediation, gender-based violence, prevention of violent extremism or peacebuilding in agriculture, etc.

• Providing and ensuring technical support and mentoring on local peacebuilding and the implementation of local peacebuilding activities to peace infrastructures

• Promoting mutual exchange and learning between peace infrastructures on local peacebuilding practice

• Promoting trust-building between local peace infrastructures and local civil society organizations

• Monitoring, evaluating and reporting on the progress of peacebuilding capacities on the level of peace infrastructures

• Facilitate and guide the facilitation of adult learning formats

• Guide the development of mentoring, coaching and peer-learning formats for the sustainable application of acquired capacities

• Support processes of curriculum development as well as the development or adaptation of teaching and training materials

Qualifications of key expert :

• Education/training : Bachelor of Arts or Bachelor of Science in social, political or economic sciences

• Languages : Excellent Arabic skills , good English skills 

• General professional experience : 5 years of experience in peacebuilding

• Specific professional experience : 5 years of implementation experience in dialog or conflict transformation or peacebuilding processes

• Leadership/management experience : – not applicable –

• Regional experience : – not applicable –

• Development cooperation (DC) experience : 2 years of experience working on development cooperation projects
