Working hours: Sunday to Thursday from 08:00AM-04:00 PM

Responsibilities:

Under the supervision of the Project Manager, the Psychologist for MH-PSS is expected to fulfil the following duties:

·        Organize regular individual and group sessions with the documentation team members and to raise awareness about important topics such as self-care and stress management.

·        Support interviewed beneficiaries throughout the documentation process.

·        Train the documentation team to help it to conduct interviews with highly traumatized victims. 

·        Report to the Project Manager.

·        Other relevant duties as may be assigned by management

Qualifications

Education: Degree in psychology MH-PSS

Experience:

·       Prior experience in a non-governmental organization or international organization is an asset.

Skills and Abilities:

·       High computer skills;

·       Strict adherence to confidentiality clause to ensure protection of all survivors and staff;

·       Able to prioritize work, multi-task and meet deadlines;

·       Strong interpersonal skills and flexibility, responsibility, integrity, team work, self-motivated, preparedness to work off-time;

·       Ability and willingness to work with people from different ethnic groups, religions and socio-economic backgrounds;

·       Proficiency in Arabic and Kurmanji is a must. Basic oral and written skills in English is required.
