We are now recruiting for a Medical Representative for Iraq based in Baghdad. This is a unique opportunity to work for a world leader in diabetes care, hemophilia, growth hormones therapy and obesity.

About the Department

Novo Nordisk Iraq has a history of selling and supply to Iraq since 1968. We are located in our office in Baghdad and employ 30 plus engaged people, all dedicated to support our affiliate outperform competition and overcome challenges related to Human Resources, Marketing, Market Access, Medical, Regulatory, Quality, Finance, IT and Legal.

Novo Nordisk is looking for a sales professional to take up the position of Medical Representative based in Baghdad.You will report to the District Sales Manager and will be responsible for the promotion of Novo Nordisk Diabetes and Biopharm products, and representing Novo Nordisk vision, values and commitment in daily contact with customers.

The Job

As a Medical Representative, you will maintain a classified list of customers (Physicians, Hospitals, etc.) that you will visit on a scheduled manner. You will promote the products to the targeted group and make sure that the physician gets full knowledge of the product.

You will maintain good relations with the hospitals, physicians and pharmacies. You will participate in conferences held locally in the benefit of the product. You will facilitate the order process among pharmacies, warehouses and distributor. You will continuously update product knowledge on promotional material and articles to ensure and maintain highest standard of sales representation.

You will report of customer complaints and adverse events according to NN procedure. Living Novo Nordisk values and apply Novo Nordisk way in daily work “we never compromise on Quality and Business Ethics”

Qualifications

You hold a Bachelor Degree in Pharmaceutical Sciences and is registered before the Pharmacist of Syndicate in Iraq. You possess solid professional qualifications and at least 1-year experience in pharmaceutical industry as sales representative. Fluent in Arabic and English. Willing to travel internally and externally. Excellent communication and negotiation skills. Effective time management skills, ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously. Strong team player, innovative and initiator and demonstrate proactive thinking.
