Programme Manager

[Samawah,Iraq ]

This is a temporary position to support a specific HRF project. The Project Manager will provide management and coordination of the teams and activities of the project. Responsibilities will include:

• Manage the implementation of the project, with responsibility for overall programme success.
• Line management of project staff.
• Oversee programme monitoring activities, in collaboration with MEAL officer, ensuring objectives and targets are reached.
• Manage cash-distribution activities and community outreach campaigns.
• Oversee recruitment activities and conduct training for project team leaders.
• Develop and maintain networks with key actors, such as donors, local authorities and humanitarian partners in Iraq.

• University educated in a relevant field, preferably business administration, economics, finance, development studies or a related field.
• Minimum 4 years experience in managing projects in areas of livelihoods, employment creation, economic empowerment, and/or business support.
• Familiarity with data collection methods and tools, including KOBO.
• Fluency in both English and Arabic. Kurdish an advantage.
• Right to live and work in Iraq.
• Willing to start work immediately.
