Project Manager

[Mosul,Iraq ]

The Project Manager will provide management and coordination of the teams and activities of the project. Responsibilities will include:

• Manage the implementation of the project, with responsibility for overall programme success.
• Line management of project staff.
• Oversee programme monitoring activities, in collaboration with MEAL officer, ensuring objectives and targets are reached.
• Develop a Rapid Market Analysis and Training Needs Assessment jointly with the Vocational Training Expert and MEAL Officer.
• Oversee recruitment activities and conduct training for project team members.
• Oversee provision of cash in the form of daily stipends for trainees.
• Lead on community outreach activities. Develop and maintain networks with key actors, such as donors, local authorities and humanitarian partners in Iraq. 
• Organise a three-day job matching fair to link trainees with Mosul businesses jointly with the  Vocational Training Expert.
• Select training facilities

• Select training facilities 

• University educated in a relevant field, preferably business administration, vocational education, development studies or any other related field. 

• Minimum 5 years experience in planning, management, and coordination of national level projects.
• Proven experience in implementing projects related to skills development.
• Fluency in both English and Arabic. 
• Right to live and work in Iraq. 
• Willing to start work immediately.
