The Community Capacity & Wellbeing (CCW) Partnership Manager will develop and support community-campus partnerships focused on health, housing, employment, safety, the environment, and personal and professional development. These partnerships address some of the most basic needs of families while simultaneously building the capacity of partners to find long-lasting, sustainable solutions. Primary work locations for this position are 1060 S 900 W and 1578 W 1700 S, Salt Lake City, UT 84104.
Responsibilities
1. Develop, manage, and support mutually beneficial partnerships with faculty, students, residents, organizations, and institutions
2. Create warm, inclusive and respectful environments where all partners are valued and diversity is recognized as an asset
3. Build and maintain relationships with individuals across diverse backgrounds
4. Develop and manage CCW budgets
5. Establish partnership agreements and other paperwork needed to organize and fund partnerships
6. Collect and maintain data on activities and partnerships
7. Work with residents and other partners to identify evolving needs and opportunities
8. Build relationships with individuals and families of diverse backgrounds across UNP’s stakeholder groups
9. Coordinate with the CCW team and the rest of the staff at UNP through transparent and responsive communication
10. Contribute to UNP efforts to document and tell the story of UNP’s partners and partnerships

Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in a related area or equivalency (2 years related work experience may be substituted for 1 year of education). Four years of progressively more responsible management experience. Background knowledge of hiring department’s area of specialization in order to analyze, plan and draw conclusions for recommendations to superiors. Demonstrated leadership skills in planning and directing employees and processes in order to effectively monitor and develop subordinates and to ensure the smooth operation of department. Completion of provided supervisory training within one year of employment may be required.
Master’s degree in a related area may be preferred.

- Experience working in multicultural communities
- Experience with empowerment, asset-based, culturally responsive, and/or family-centered, approaches
- Knowledge of the challenges facing culturally and linguistically marginalized communities
- Master’s degree in a relevant field (e.g., Social Work) or equivalent work experience
- Experience with Word, Excel, and web-based software
- Skills at online and off-line communication
