Background:
Sahara Economic Development Organization (SEDO) is Iraqi National NGO, it’s established in November 2007 as an independent NGO with its main office in Tikrit city. It focuses on developing the economic sector by providing business management training courses and counseling services to entrepreneurs and potential investors to enable them to efficiently contribute to the local economy. SEDO is considered among the most effective and qualified organizations in Iraq. It has conducted economic studies on the business environment in Iraq, identifying business opportunities and market niches for potential investors in Iraq. SEDO started humanitarian intervention in Iraq to respond to the urgent need for our beneficiaries, it’s work in WASH, Livelihood, protection, Food security, and Education sectors.
Key Job Tasks and Responsibilities:
- Ensure that beneficiaries are keeping records of their activities.
- Work with stockholder to ensure that they hold meetings and workshops to raise the participants’ awareness.
- Support Beneficiaries in their roles and responsibilities.
- Provide logistical support to community to complete the activities.
- Facilitate the provision of materials to the cash for work activity .
- Collect monitoring data of project activities, visiting project sites regularly, and reporting data on the activities, as requested.
- Submit herhis time sheet monthly, with actual working hours indicated.

Qualifications & Preferred Skills
- Previous experience conduction research or baseline assessments especially for Livelihood programs.
- Experience in using computer (Excel & Word).
- Good knowledge of field work, data collection and assessments.
- Holds a high school diploma
- fields is preferred.
- Good interpersonal skills
