Job Purpose
To design and implement the M&E activities of the project on a regular basis. To follow up on the implementation of the project and make sure that all project activities are going according to the plans and report any deviations. To be responsible for the collection & analysis of different data in relation to the project activities.
Key Responsibilities
o Monitoring and Evaluation:
- Design and develop M&E plan for the project in consultation and collaboration with the MEAL manager and project manager.
- Follow up the implementation of the project activities against the plan.
- Design of the quantitative and qualitative data collection tools for project during the monitoring and evaluation phases.
- Issue monitoring and evaluation reports according to the MEAL plan.
- Collaborate with the media department to advocate for the monitored projects.
o Data Management:
- Acquiring data from primary or secondary data sources and maintaining databases.
- Enter and organize data collected.
- Cleaning, visualizing and analyzing data.
- Develop and implement data analysis, data collection systems, tools and other strategies that optimize statistical efficiency and quality.
- Use Ona or Kobo applications to collect data from the field.
- Update the MEAL database in accordance with his/her responsibilities.
- Archive all project documents and files in acceptable ways.
o Accountability and lessons learned:
- Ensure accountability system implementation of the project and maintain linkage between M&E and accountability system.
- Handle the Complaints Email account and the Complaints phone-line/WhatsApp account or other feedback paths agreed by the department. Logging and sending the complaints and following up with the respective manager accordingly.
- Issue a report to capture insights gained on a project and answering the most important questions (What went well? What could be improved? What should we continue to do on our next projects to be successful?);
- Share the lessons learned with all stakeholders to mainstream knowledge and improve the project planning for the next years.
Qualification (Education/Work Experience/Languages)
A. Essential:
• Institute or university degree in business administration, engineering, or any other related field.
• Minimum of two-year working experience in the MEAL department.
• At least two-year working experience with data analyzing and databases building.
• English language (upper intermediate level);
• Arabic language (Advance level).
B. Desirable:
• Master’s degree in business administration, engineering, or any other related field.
• Three years experiences in the MEAL department and three years in data analyzing.
• English language (Advance level).
• Turkish language is an advance.
