Business Management Trainer (Anbar-Heet) – 3 Males – 3 Females

II. Organizational context

Caritas Czech Republic (CCR) is a non-profit organization that operates abroad, in the context of humanitarian aid and development cooperation. It is a respected member of the international network, Caritas Internationalis, and Caritas Europa. Its foreign activities focus on the health and social sectors and on developing livelihood for the local population and education of children and adults.

 

In order to build the capacity of vulnerable households in business management and planning, who will be supported by CCR with business grants, CCR is looking for 6 business management trainers (3 males, 3 females) with an experience in the delivering of business management training in the Iraqi context. These skills will enable the trainees utilize the grants effectively in rebuilding their livelihoods.  

 

III. Responsibilities

 

  • Delivery of business management training, including the development of business plans, to preselected beneficiaries in Heet district. The training will take place for the beneficiaries residing in Heet district including 5 subdistricts as the followings: Heet, Al furat, Al Mohammadi, Kubisa and Al Baghdadi. The number of participants in each subdistrict will be identifies later once the selection process is complete.

 

 

  • Support conducting interviews with the candidates/applicants who are interested in the grants support program and help in the beneficiaries selection process.

 

  • Provide two months of effective mentorship to the graduated participants (established businesses) once the training is completed.

 

  • Applying experiential and participatory approach when delivering the training, the approach should involve various techniques including but not limited to Brainstorming, Interactive Q and A, Group work exercises Case study, Role play and business modelling.
  • The trainer should provide inception training plan.

 

  • Presenting an inception training plan complete with Goals, objectives, topic and subtopics, methodology, session plans, teaching aids, activities and expected outcomes for each presentation.
  • Prepare session plans and handouts
  • Administer daily feedback forms and end of training evaluation, including the preparation of the pre/post tests
  • The trainer should provide a comprehensive training report.
  • Checking the daily attendance of the trainees
  • Write draft and final report –Include follow-up and training implementation schedule. The format of the report will be mutually agreed between the consultant and CCR.

Qualifications & Preferred Skills

  • Have minimum degree in Economics Development or entrepreneurship or Business administration.
  • Over 2 year’s training –informal and formal
  • Be fluent in Arabic, English will be a plus.
  • Demonstrated experience and proven record in undertaking similar assignments
  • Trainers from the region will be a plus.
  • Certification in training is a plus
