Job Scope

Our team is looking for a BUM that’s preferably experienced in the CVS/CNS therapeutic areas in the Iraqi market.

The BUM will Develop and guide the implementation of the sales and marketing strategy for the country and ensure the implementation of all strategies to achieve sales, collection and profitability targets and achieve company goals and to assure Sales growth and Customer Satisfaction.

 

Job Requirements

Education: B.SC. in Pharmacy or a related field as per the country regulations. MBA is preferred.

Experience: Minimum 10 years of experience in the industry (CVS/CNS TA’s Experience is preferred)

Language: Proficiency in written and spoken English,

Duties and Responsibilities (But not limited to)

• Leading and developing the sales (Supervisors) and marketing (Sr. Product Managers/Product Managers) teams including but not limited to performance management, talent management and career development to ensure the achievement of sales targets and expense control.
• Ensure proper preparation of the marketing plans for designated product(s) in accordance with strategy and direction by maximizing sales force measures as the best in relation to industry trends.
• Participating in the development of strategies and objectives of the department.
• Ensure effective allocation for material plan implementation of resources.
• Developing and managing the execution of short-term plans for implementing the approved objectives.
• Monitoring the workflow within the department and ensuring that all preventive and corrective actions are being made promptly.
• Participating in developing the department’s budgets and control budget and expenses within business unit in order to ensure the profitability.
• Conducting periodic meetings with subordinates regarding work priorities and ensuring work is flowing smoothly.
• Guide the preparation of the company’s annual sales budget, which would help in achieving strategic objectives and planned sales.
• Manage and supervise the implementation of the annual sales and marketing plan and take all necessary measures to achieve the desired growth of sales, in addition to directing the steps to implement corrective actions to overcome obstacles.
• Continuous communication with key customers to ensure meeting their expectations in terms of products and quality provided.

• Monitor the sales operations including government sales and tenders and ensure achieving targets and closing deals.
• Supervising the administrative and commercial relations with agents and customers and solve problems and differences, if any.
• Represent the company in the region in various transactions, relationships, and preserve a positive image of the company and contribute to business development in the region.
• Oversee and guide the process of preparing proposals for key customers to ensure price competitiveness, in a way that maintains relationships with customers and enhances it.
• Managing and follow up the good sales forecasting and ensuring the implementation of proper sales forecasting and analysis.
• Ensure the availability of stocks from all items during the year to satisfy customer needs.
• Responsible for the selection, filtering, controlling & enriching the company wholesalers profile & pharmacies with improving the best relationship with all of them, and manages personally the most important & potential ones.
• Responsible for guiding, monitoring and ensuring the proper and effective collection of all sales invoices, and solving any related problems with clients.
• Set up KPIs to appraise staff’s performance
• Set up and manage customer’s profile, develop potential customers

• Developing periodic reports related to the activities of the department and communicating them to the direct manager.
• Recommending training aspects to subordinates and evaluating the outcomes of development and reflecting them properly on work related requirements.
• Overseeing the manpower planning process as per the developed budgets and plans.
• Conducting performance management activities to subordinates and managing the process of ensuring objectives are being met as advised.
• Following up on subordinates personnel affairs such as leaves, vacations …etc.
• Advising a deputy to handle the job’s requirements in case of absence or if the need arises.
• Handling any other work-related activities as per the direction of the sales director
