Psychologist (Volunteer)

[Telafar,Iraq ]

• Provide therapy sessions to individual survivors of GBV that have been identified for a specialized service, and which have been referred by case workers and/ or other stakeholders.
• Conduct psychological assessments, including assessment of mental health states, suicide risk assessments and bio-psycho-social.
• Plan and implement appropriate therapeutic interventions (individual and/or group) utilizing appropriate and evidence-based interventions.
• Evaluate the outcomes of interventions and satisfaction surveys.
• Provide psychoeducational support sessions to survivor`s family members (if needed).
• Conduct home-to-home visits (if needed) for at-risk GBV survivors.

• Fresh graduated and has university degree in psychology.
• Good understanding of the local context of Talafer.
• Written & verbal proficiency in the Arabic and Turkmen languages is required.
• Ability to work in a multi-cultural environment
