EORE Project Manager position is a service full-time contract type based Ninevah -Roving. The EORE Project Manager is responsible for coordinating and facilitating RE activities in Kurdistan and Iraq.

Further to the above, the Project Manager will manage the SHO-RE teams in Hatra and Zummar.

Responsibilities:

Coordinate and liaise with the other components of SHO to make sure that RE is integrated into the overall strategy of Mine Action;

Initiate, plan and coordinate RE in targeted communities;

Ensure that all reports from the field are correctly completed and submitted in a timely fashion;

Ensure timely reporting to the SHO Operations Officer, DMA, and other relevant stakeholders and interlocutors;

Liaise with local authorities, community leaders, and stakeholders to ensure the smooth running of the RE activities;

Supervise and ensure that the tasked RE activities are carried out in the field;

Ensure that the team has the necessary materials and other equipment to carry out the designated activities;

Conduct training for RE team –CLO, NGO workers, central people in the communities, etc.;

Conduct refresher training for RE teams and ensure the skills of the RE team are according to standards;

Maintain good communication with other Mine Action interventions;

Maintain good communication with partner organizations;

Maintain good relationships with other mine action interventions in the area, including those involved in the survey, marking, and clearance, to ensure good coordination and shared knowledge.

The EORE Project Manager shall be prepared to participate in ongoing training before and during the operational phase:

•           Basic RE course;

•           Course on specific Methodologies and tools;

•           Any other relevant training as planned by SHO.

Qualifications & Preferred Skills

Minimum university degree.

Experience working as Supervisor, leadership, CLO, EORE, Or any relevant field Minimum 3 years.

Fluency in Kurdish, Arabic, and English

Prior experience in coordination, managing from working with an NGO is an asset

Excellent IT Skills, Microsft office especially excel Database.

Excellent communication skills.

Female Gender preferable.
