ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES/SCOPE OF WORK:
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following.
Other duties may be assigned. JOB PURPOSE The Legal officer is responsible for coordinating, consolidating, and ensuring smooth implementation of and adherence to legal procedures.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Monitor legal risk in documentation and giving guidance on the acceptable assumption of risk.
• Ensure that appropriate approvals are in place before legal documents are executed.
• Manage regulatory and compliance related services.
• Facilitate innovative solutions to problems.
• Provide updates about the Iraqi regulations.
• Provide legal consultations. • Represents the Organization when needed.
• Any other task relevant to the position as requested by the line manager.
• Follow up the tax and social security where required
• Provide consultation when needed
Qualifications & Preferred Skills
-Gender of Employee: Female √ Male √
-Number of Posts: 1 Line Manager Name / Supervisor: General manager
-Minimum Years of Experience: 2 years working with NGOs Degree:
-Bachelor in law
-Working Area (Governorate): Iraq (KRI and GOI) Working Facility: Erbil gov. DAMA HQ office
Requirements:
• Bachelors degree in Law
• Experienced in drafting, negotiating, and reviewing legal documents.
• Analytical thinker with strong conceptual and research skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
• Excellent interpersonal, communication and public speaking skills.
