The Foreign Language program in the School of Arts and Humanities at The University of Texas at Dallas seeks well-qualified part-time lecturers for undergraduate courses for upcoming terms. This is a renewable appointment contingent upon a successful review. Teaching load is 1 to 2 courses per semester of beginning through advanced courses.
The School of Arts and Humanities engages faculty to teach primarily at the main campus, although some courses may be taught at other locations throughout the Metroplex. Courses are offered between the hours of 8:00 a.m. and 10:00 p.m. and may include lecture, laboratory, seminar, and distance education formats, among others.

An earned graduate degree appropriate to the academic discipline/topic and a record of productivity and professional achievement.
Preferred Education and Experience
An earned Master’s degree in a Language discipline including all levels of Spanish, Japanese, Korean, Chinese, German, French or Arabic is required. Two years of college level teaching in an institution similar to UT Dallas is preferred.
