Salary: $1200 gross salary
- Description:
- Develop, provide and follow up specialize sessions (MHPSS) for individuals and/or groups, either adults and children
- Provide professional support to GBV and conflict survivors
- Develop, provide, and follow up therapy sessions through group discussions, informal education activities, sensitization, and recreational activities on SGBV, life skills, personal health
- Identify beneficiaries with more serious mental health concerns (anxiety, depression, PTSD) and provide cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), trauma-focused cognitive behavioral therapy (TF-CBT) for children, and psychiatric consultations. Refer identified cases to specialized services for further treatment
- Moderate groups of people experiencing distress associated with displacement and conflict-related stressors
- Conduct therapy Group to support healthy grieving, conflict resolution, and adaptation to life changes among conflict survivors, peer support, psychosocial support for caregivers, detained youth and their families, GBV survivors and others
- Provide MHPSS online sessions, either adults and children
- Evaluate outcomes of interventions and pre and post surveys
- At least Bachelor’s degree, preferably in psychology, mental health studies, social work, social sciences, development studies or other relevant field
- A minimum of 3 years’ experience in Mental Health and Psychosocial Support (MHPSS) projects involving youth and women and social working or other relevant experience
- Experience in monitoring, evaluation with regard (MHPSS) projects and cases and reporting
- Fluency in Arabic and English mandatory
- Display cultural, gender, religion, race, nationality, and age sensitivity and adaptability
- Treats all people fairly and with impartiality
- Good communication skills, including ability to write concise and analytical reports in English
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
- Flexibility and responsiveness to changes and unexpected demands upon time
- Ability to work with people from different backgrounds to deliver quality products within a short timeframe
- Client-oriented, open to feedback
