- Managing overall project activities, supervising implementation of projects and making sure project is according to work plan and timetable.
- Documenting and following up on important actions and decisions for the project.
- Ensuring project deadlines are met.
- Communicating with Donor during the time of implementation.
- Determining project changes.
- Providing administrative support as needed.
- Developing project strategies.
- Coordinating with local authorities.
- Continuous communication with the field team, the donor and all departments of the organization.
- Reviewing and reporting on project progress (weekly update monthly report and final report) to project donor.
- Contributing in proposal writing, fundraising and submitting new projects on behalf of the organization.
- Assess project risks and issues and provide solutions where applicable.
- Meet budgetary objectives and make adjustments to project constraints based on financial analysis.
- Create a project management calendar for fulfilling each goal and objective.
- Representing KOHRW in cluster meetings and other events.
- Any other extra tasks requested by the Executive Director.
- University degree in Civil Engineering department.
- At least 5 years of experience in Projects Management.
- Excellent knowledge of project management cycle and experience managing large humanitarian projects in challenging environments, including planning and delivery, internal and external coordination, monitoring and reporting.
- Experience in developing program strategies and project proposals.
- Capacity to lead large teams and work with local partners.
- Fluency in written and spoken English and Arabic.
- Willingness to travel in/out the field.
