Al Eslah is a non-profit and non-governmental association, registered in Iraq with the No. (1L43534), and has been working in Iraq since 2012. Al Eslah operates in Iraq through 3 basic offices, the implemented projects vary to include but are not limited to: education, protection and response to survivors of GBV, projects to support young people and building capabilities to generate outcomes that create a sustainable and enabling environment for youth to achieve their potential
Finance officer Responsibilities:
- Assisting in the preparation of budgets
- Managing records and receipts
- Reconciling daily, monthly and yearly transactions
- Preparing balance sheets
- Processing invoices
- Developing in-depth knowledge of organizational products and process
- Resolve financial disputes raised by the customer service and sales teams
- Being a key point of contact for other departments on financial and accounting matters
- Supporting the Finance Manager and executives with projects and tasks when required
Competencies:
- Business Administration degree or equivalent and Human Resources, with a minimum of 3 years is essential..
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills in English and Arabic.
- Excellent proficiency with Microsoft Office, particularly with Excel.
- Ability to multitask and prioritise tasks effectively.
- Build and maintain good relations with local counterparts.
- Have a hardworking and flexible approach.
- Be good at working in a team.
- Be patient and understanding.
- Fast learner.
- Excellent organisational skills.
