Data Entry Clerk – Refugee

Under the supervision of the Refugee Health Screening (RHS) Operations Manager. The Data Entry Clerk is responsible for assisting the RHS Operations Manager on a routine basis. Data entry clerk will assist in performing data entry, electronic data processing and data quality control activities related to the maintenance of the electronic Refugee data collection and/or record systems.

Programmatic/Data Collection/Entry Duties:
Assists in performing data entry, electronic data processing and data quality control activities related to the maintenance of the electronic Refugee data collection and/or record systems.

Assists with data entry, cleaning, tabulation and reporting of program mass screenings.

Assists with database creation and management, data entry, data extraction, data tabulation and report creation and distribution of requested Refugee Program data.

Assists with printing and registering the Voluntary agencies client’s referrals.

Retrieves files and ensures medical records are available for patient care.

Faxes, files lab reports and other medical forms.

Purges and processes inactive records with appropriate entries.

Follows approved medical record policies and procedures, including those dealing with patient confidentiality.

Programs reporting for eSHARE forms.

Reviews patient benefits and updates patient’s information as needed.

Other Duties:
Performs other duties as assigned, including special tasks involved in responding to an emergency event.

Requirements

High School Diploma or equivalent.

One (1) year of full-time experience in performing data entry.

Experience with Microsoft Excel.

Experience with operation of a computer and data entry.

Preferences

Experience performing data entry, preferably in a healthcare related setting.

Bilingual skills in another language in addition to English (Arabic, Dari, Pashto, Swahili and/or Spanish).

SALARY:
Commensurate with experience.

Based on 26 pay periods.
