Mercy Hands for Humanitarian Aid (MH) is a leading Iraqi NGO, founded in 2004 with a goal to save lives and preserve human dignity.

 

Mercy Hands is implementing a program in Teleafar that focuses on providing psychosocial support to vulnerable women and building the capacity and empowering 16 local women leaders. The program is managed by a Program Manager, who is based in Mosul.

 

Mercy Hands is planning to recruit a Program Manager Assistant who will represent the Program Manager in Telafar and assist her in managing program activities.

 

 

S/he will perform the following duties:

• Implement the daily work plan designed by the Program Manager;
• Manage and lead the field staff;
• Act as a liaison between the Program Manager and the Community Police in Telafar;
• Provide the MEAL Officer with data for monitoring and evaluation;
• Responsible for project visibility, take pictures and video clips to document program activities;
• Write the daily activities report and send it along with the visibility material (videos and pictures) to the Program Manager on daily bases.

 

 

The Program Manager Assistant will work under the direct supervision of the Program Manager and overall supervision of the Protection Coordinator.

 

 

• College graduate;
• Speaks fluent Iraqi Turkmen Turkish and good English;
• Lives in Telafar or willing to relocate to Telafar
