Agricultural Engineer

[Kirkuk,Iraq ]

Responsibility
1- Supporting farmers in agricultural projects and irrigation systems
2- Giving agricultural training
3- Provide technical expertise and advise for landowners and farmers on how to make the most effective use of the land and supplies, as well as an optimal business strategy.
4- Communicate and respond to the beneficiaries’ questions to ensure the quality of the beneficiary’s production and guide them
5- Record and document meetings and discussions with beneficiaries, their comments and feedback, to be included in weekly reports
6- Provide weekly reports on monitoring activities, including the challenges they face and proposed solutions
7- Communicate professionally and respectfully with all beneficiaries, local authorities and project staff
8- Should be available for beneficiary’s telephone call and give them required information.
9- Conduct field visits to farms to conduct analyses and collect data (such as crop yield, measuring, analyzing and interpreting data) and provide recommendations and hi/her advice for Farmers.
10- Any other tasks required by line manager.

الواجبات:
1
– تقديم الاستشارة والمتابعة الميدانية للفلاحين في تنفيذ وتشغي ل المشاريع الزراعية وانظمة الري .
2
– تقديم الدورات التدريبية في الحقل .
3
– توفير الخبرة الفنية وتقديم المشورة لاصحاب الأراضي والمزارعين حول كيفية الاستخدام الاكثر فعالية للأرض
والإمدادات ،بالإضافة إلى استارتيجية العمل المثلى .
4
– التواصل والرد على أسئلة المستفيدين للتأكد من جودة إنتاج المستفيد وارشادهم .
5
– تسجيل وتوثيق أسئلة المستفيدين والتعليقات والملاحظات ، لإدراجها في التقارير الأسبوعية.
6
– تقديم تقارير أسبوعية عن أنشطة المراقبة ، بما في ذلك التحديات التي تواجههم والحلول المقترحة.
7
– التواصل بمهنية واحترام مع جميع المستفيدين والسلطات المحلية وموظفي المشروع.
8
– ان يكون متاحا للاجابة على المكالمات الهاتفية للمستفيد وإعطائهم المعلومات المطلوبة .
9
– القيام بزيارات ميدانية لمكان عمل المزارعين لإجراء التحليلات وجمع البيانات )مثل غلة المحاصيل ، والقياس ،
والتحليل ، وتفسير البيانات( وتقديم التوصيات والمشورة للمزارعين.
10
– تنفيذ أي مهام أخرى يطلب من قبل المدير المباشر

Agriculture Engineer Qualification:
1- He shall not have any other job during the same working hours with the organization.
2- The Agricultural Engineer must be from Kirkuk.
3- Having Not less than 5 years’ experience in agriculture field in general.
4- Having experience in field works.
5- Having experience in providing a training course for the farmers.
6- Fluency in Arabic & Kurdish is required.
7- Has the ability to communicate with the beneficiaries and give them the necessary instructions to improve their agricultural projects
8- A master’s or bachelor’s degree in agricultural engineering or equivalent.
9- It is preferable to having experience in managing agricultural projects implemented by NGOs.
10- Maturity in the management of situations of tension, ability to work under stress.
11- Flexibility and discretion at all levels of work.

مؤهلا ت المهندس الزراع ي:
1
– ان يمتلك خبرة لاتقل عن 5 سنوات في مجال الزراعة بشكل عام
2
– ان يمتلك خبرة في العمل الميداني
3
– ان يمتلك الخبرة في تقديم الدورات تدريبية ذات الاختصاص للفلاحين.
4
– ان يجيد التحدث باللغة العربية والكوردية بطلاقة .
5
– ذو قدرة على التواصل مع المستفيدين واعطائهم الارشادات الضرورية لتحسين مشاريعهم الزراعية .
6
– ان يكون لديه شهادة ماجستير او بكالوريوس في الهندسة الزراعية او ما يعادلها.
7
– يفضل ان يمتلك الخبرة في ادارة المشاريع الزراعية المنفذة من قبل المنظمات.
8
– النضج في إدارة والقدرة على العمل تحت الضغط و الاتزام بالمواعيد.
9
– المرونة وحسن التعامل في جميع مراحل العمل .
10
– ان لا يكون له أي وظيفة أخرى خلال نفس ساعات العمل مع المنظمة .
11
– ان يكون من سكنة محافظة كركوك.
