Job Description:
The Defense Group of Leidos has openings for an Arabic Language Instructor at Fort Gordon.
INSCOM, an Army Direct Reporting Unit (DRU), executes mission command of operational intelligence forces; conducts worldwide multi-discipline and all-source intelligence operations; delivers advanced skills training, linguist support, specialized quick reaction capabilities, and intelligence-related logistics, contracting, and communications in support of Army, Joint, and Coalition commands and the National Intelligence Community.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
Provide Language Instructors for direct language instruction to assigned and attached personnel
Train using job-related and general language materials designed to remediate, sustain, and enhance both mission-language skills and global language skills
Develop language training curricula to meet training objectives
Travel up to 40% of the time may be required
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
10+ years of experience in the Arabic language with Levantine or Iraq dialect.
Knowledge of culture and military aspects of the Arabic language.
Instructors must have a minimum tested score of 3/3/3 proficiency on a DLPT or 3/3 equivalent on an equivalent testing standard
Must have NAC investigation completed (U.S. citizenship and someone that has been submitted for a Secret clearance)
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college in a related discipline.
Native fluency in target language.
