Arabic Program Undergraduate Internship

JOB DESCRIPTION AND POSITION REQUIREMENTS:
Penn State School of Global Languages, Literatures, and Cultures is seeking student interns to assist as technology support interns or academic support interns in the preparation and remote delivery of instruction during the Penn State STARTALK Arabic Academy, June 7- July 16, 2021. Work will be remote. Responsibilities include assisting with the preparation of learning materials and with project logistics and the delivery of remote synchronous and asynchronous learning activities. Requirements include technology support skills and undergraduate student status (for tech support interns), or knowledge of Modern Standard Arabic and undergraduate or graduate student status (for academic interns), and employment eligibility. Prior experience with the Penn State STARTALK Arabic Academy preferred but not required. Applications received by April 28, 2021, will be given full consideration, though later applications are also encouraged and will be considered if space remains.

Pursuant to the Jeanne Clery Disclosure of Campus Security Policy and Campus Crime Statistics Act and the Pennsylvania Act of 1988, Penn State publishes a combined Annual Security and Annual Fire Safety Report (ASR). The ASR includes crime statistics and institutional policies concerning campus security, such as those concerning alcohol and drug use, crime prevention, the reporting of crimes, sexual assault, and other matters.
