Abide by Mercy Hands bylaws and code of conduct, under full authority of Meal officer. The information Officer’s responsibilities and duties are as follow:

• Work effectively as a team member and help build relationships within the team. Actively help and support others to achieve team goals.
• Facilitate providing required information to the team or the beneficiaries.
• Promote equality, diversity and human rights in working practices.
• Prepare and fill out the information forms designed by the program manager for the purposes recording beneficiaries’ cases.
• Provide reports requested by the program manager.
• Make best use of information technology and communication facilities.
• Ability to travel to other governorates for purposes of attending workshops or conferences.
• Reporting the monthly/ weekly plan.
• Filing of documents, maintenance of database and creation of reports according to the program manager instructions.
  

• At least 1 year of relevant professional experience of working with (INGOs/NGOs)
• Strong contextual understanding of Nineveh governorate and Talafer district in Particular
• Work effectively as a team member and help build relationships within the team. Actively help and support others to achieve project goals.
