Overview:
TVO is seeking a dynamic and results-oriented Business Development Coordinator to join our team. Reporting to the Manager of Partnerships & Business Development, the coordinator will proactively support TVO’s revenue generation activities and interact with a wide variety of TVO cross functional teams and external clients. The coordinator will support the Business Development team in the pursuit of revenue goals, delivery, and execution of tactics, projects, and account administration.
The ideal candidate will have a demonstrated background in business development, a client-first approach, strong verbal and written communication skills and a knack for getting things done.
Duties and responsibilities:
Monitor market trends, competitive intelligence and conduct research as directed by the Business Development leadership team in identified markets to support revenue generation activities.
Work with Business Development team to provide ongoing support to manage and maintain relationships with partner
Collaborate with ILC leadership team to support the development of marketing and promotional materials.
Work with ILC leadership and cross-functional teams to support Contract for Services (CFS) process.
Provide administrative support to the partnership contract and onboarding process.
Ensure timely and accurate invoice processing and trouble shoot invoicing issues and client/customer queries.
Participate as required in events that build brand awareness and increase customer interest
Liaise with key stakeholders in Marketing, Product, Operations and Customer Service to support customer on-boarding programs, marketing and communication plan rollouts to meet business needs and future revenue objectives.
Support the Business Development team in the delivery of research projects, providing research on potential partners and industry-focused initiatives.
Assess pipeline leads and contribute to the development and implementation of plans for prospect identification, research, cultivation, solicitation, and conversion.
Provide administrative support to ensure CRM database is accurate and current, providing reporting as required.
Skill requirements:
Undergraduate degree or diploma.
One to three years experience in a similar role.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Excellent skills in Microsoft Office software (PowerPoint, Excel, Word, etc.)
Ideal candidate will have demonstrated language competency in one or more of the following: French, Arabic, Chinese, Vietnamese, Korean, Tagalog, Spanish, Hindi, etc.
Experience in the education space would be considered an asset.
Ability to to plan and carry out work, establish priorities, handle problems in accordance with instructions, and/or established practices and procedures.
