| Overview :UNDP Call for Proposals for Increased food safety and quality management systems through the use of Finnish expertise
The United Nations Development Program (UNDP) is requesting proposals from Finnish non-governmental organizations (NGOs), local associations, academic institutions, and other civil society institutions for its Aid for Trade Project (2018-2022) that aims to support producers and government partners in three Central Asian countries, namely Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan and Uzbekistan, in building productive capacities that are forward-looking (future-proof) and that address rapidly changing global market demands or climate change. In order to ensure that the project can benefit from capacities in Finland, as well as create backward linkages to approaches and methodologies approved by European standards agencies, the project wants to build on Finnish experiences and transfer some of this knowledge to Tajikistan and Uzbekistan. The project is expected to achieve the following results:
Detailed objectives and related outputs as well as deliverables are provided in the Terms of Reference. Funding Information The Contractor will be issued a Responsible Party Agreement by UNDP. All content matters are subject to the approval of the Aid for Trade Project Manager including but not limited to contents of the trainings, workshops and content of report and materials. Proposals’ amounts should range to a maximum of USD 80,000.00 for interventions as stated in Terms of Reference. In principle, the project duration will not exceed 6 months.
