Job Description Details:

Job purpose:

This is a 3-month Case Management/IPA Assistant position based in Karşıyaka CPC, Gaziantep with a regular visits to Nizip CPC on a daily basis without any overnight in there. It is also requiring full-time performance of work in the assigned duty station.

You will report to Team Leader and will be working under the technical supervision of the Case Management/IPA Officer.

Duties and Responsibilities:

· Perform individual case management plans of refugee beneficiaries as part of the Case Management and IPA, and coordinates closely with the Case Management/IPA Officer for each case.

· Act as a point of contact for assessment of needs in consultation with the Individual Case, develop goals and plan interventions with the Individual Case,

· Have strong communication with service providers to ensure effective and appropriate interventions and follow-up, including for accompaniment to hospitals, service points, etc.

· Assisting in service mapping exercise to identify the available services and assistance for refugees with local authorities, I/NGOs, UN Agencies, and other governmental bodies, and keeping updated the service map of the organization on a regular basis

· Acting as a second focal point for referrals to and from CPCs for protection cases, in the absence of CM/IPA Officer or in need.

· Assisting CM/IPA Officer in planning and organizing information and awareness-raising sessions with project participants and communities about protection, child protection, and education-specific topics in close collaboration with PSS team members.

· Undertake distribution process of project materials and equipment procured through the fund in accordance with standard operating procedures, under the direct management of Centre Supervisor and CM/IPA Officer.

· Submitting daily reports to the Line Manager and Technical Supervisor, and report any problems in a timely manner.

· Take obligatory responsibility for data entry for each case and each stage of the Case Management/IPA process on daily basis by ensuring proper completion and filing of all documentation (soft and hard copy, as required).

· Support to Case Management/IPA officer to ensure that all processes are related to International Protection Standards.

· Performing internal & external reporting tasks in coordination with CM/IPA Officer and Centre Supervisor.

· Attending various meetings, workshops, and conferences and follows up all educational meetings to maintain professional development growth.

· Ensuring that center provides and consistently maintains a safe environment for project participants and beneficiaries. Maintaining professional relations with beneficiaries, the parents, staff, and volunteers.

· Contribute and suggest all protection and education project proposals relevant to center’s function.

· Perform any other tasks under the guidance of the direct and technical supervisors when required.

Academic Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in social science, or in the related subject area, a master’s degree will be an advantage.

Requirements:**

· Knowledge of protection and key protection concern and at least 1 year of experience in the protection field or education, preferably working with vulnerable groups.

· Familiarity with the social protection system of the Government of Turkey and activities of relevant actors.

· Familiarity with the Government of Turkey regulations and system for refugees and asylum seekers residing in Turkey

· Turkish fluent and advanced proficiency in Arabic required

· Have a passion for or strong interest in the humanitarian field and human rights particularly related to refugees’ and children’s rights

· Computer skills (e.g., Microsoft Office, internet applications) are essential.

· Intermediate or advanced level of English

· Strong understanding of and engagement with the humanitarian context and I/NGO field.

· Ability to work independently and to prioritize deliverables, often with little oversight, in a fast-paced and complex environment.

· Good team player, flexible and capable of working with a multicultural team and culturally sensitive

· Ability to cope with stress, work under pressure often to strict deadlines

· Flexibility, adaptability, sense of humor, and patience
