This position based in Mosul with frequent travels to Talafar base, under the immediate direction of the QIPs project manager. The CfW Officer will be responsible for field-level implementation of the ACTED cash for work in Ninewa governorate. S/he will participate in assessing areas for determining project services. The Cash for Work Officer will be responsible for working with representatives from the local authorities and community members to determine what local infrastructure repairs or development are necessary to promote economic revival and productivity in the community.

CFW activity implementation under ACTED’s QIPs program in Ninewa.

Functions
- Supporting Area Assessments
- Supporting the QIPs Project Manager with assessing community need
- Supporting the QIPs Project Manager with ensuring that community participation is robust, that community member feedback is received and kept confidential, and that the process upholds humanitarian principles;
- Support for Cash for Work Program
- Support field-level implementation of the cash for work (CfW) component in Ninewa
- Support the PM in ensuring that the project’s CfW component adequately supports and is integrated into other project components;
- Support the PM in maintaining persistently up to date information on the CfW activities and preparing monthly progress reports for the Project Manager;
- Support the Project team in maintaining persistently up to date information on the infrastructure rehabilitation and in preparing monthly progress reports for the Project Manager;
- Responsible for providing the Project team with other administrative support;
- Internal and external coordination
- Periodic translation support for ACTED and other project teams, as needed;
- Other ad-hoc duties as required by the Project Manager.

Qualifications & Preferred Skills
1-A willingness to learn quickly, ask questions, and improve on his/her skills;
2-Excellent communication, diplomatic and motivational skills with project staff, beneficiaries and other stakeholders in the area;
3-Strong attention to detail, and ability to prioritize and problem solve in a fast moving, multi-site environment;
4-Demonstrate flexibility to work on unusual hours and cope with the pressure from emergency activities;
5-This position will require good command of English; additionally, fluency in Arabic is required. Turkmen and Kurdish languages are an asset
6-This position will be based in Mosul, with frequent travel to Talafar base. The staff recruited will require to travel frequently to the field where ACTED is operating CFW programming in Ninewa governorate.
