Purpose/objective of the position: The Protection Monitor is responsible for the monitoring of the protection context in the area, including the safety and dignity of individuals and respect of their basic rights and reporting of protection incidents, concerns and trends in the assigned area of operation. Additionally, the Protection Monitor identifies individuals at risk through household level assessments and provides them with orientation on available services or refers those with specific protection concerns as required.
