Background:
Under the supervision of the Communications officer; the Communication and Social Media Intern will be expected to provide support to the communication functions and activities for KOHRW.
Assist the Communication Team in the following:
- Support in the preparation and generation of Social Media content for KOHRW social media platforms; including (photos, videos, etc..)
- Support the social media coverage of KOHRW’s events and conferences.
- Assist in the logistical and communication preparations of key events and activities in coordination with the various teams.
- Provide support in producing videos and infographics capturing key messages of KOHRW’s work.
- Assist in planning and implementing new campaigning opportunities that promote KOHRW’s mandate and key development solutions.
- Assist in writing success stories and feature articles related to the various projects and activities/events.
- Assist any other duties as may be deemed necessary.

Qualifications & Preferred Skills
Qualifications:
- University degree in the field of communications, public relations, business administration or related fields.
- Knowledge in running social media campaigns and engagement on Facebook, Twitter, Website, etc.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Tech savvy with a passion for mobile technologies, innovation, and emerging categories
- Ability to write for social media clearly and concisely.
- Uses Microsoft Office.
- Written and spoken English.
- Graphic designing and video editing skills are an asset.
- Newly graduates are preferred.
Additional Information:
- KOHRW will be covering for your transportations and communications on a monthly basis.
