General Statement of Duties
Performs professional outreach duties and public health education; performs directly related work as required.
Acceptable Experience and Training
Graduation from High School or GED; and
Some experience in health care or social services; or
Any equivalent combination of experience and training which provides the knowledge, skills and abilities necessary to perform the work.
Required Special Qualifications
Bilingual skills in both English and at least one additional language (i.e. Spanish, Nepali, Arabic, etc.).
Valid New Hampshire Driver”s License.
CPR/First Aid Certificate a plus
Additional Information:
This position is funded by the American Rescue Plan Act through December 2026. In partnership with the Police Department, the goal of the position will be to provide neighborhood outreach to assist residents in accessing health care and services to improve basic needs, as well as establish/coordinate neighborhood improvement projects. The position will be physically located at an office in the neighborhood that they serve. Manchester residents are strongly encouraged to apply.
