Community Health Worker-Ninewa

[Mosul,Iraq ]

 

The Iraq Health Access Organization (IHAO) is interested in hiring an Community Health Workers who will work in Ninewa whose duties include:

• Do regular visits to the far villages and rural areas that are far from the health center to introduce the cervices of the center.
• Introduce the best habits in regards of personal hygiene and precaution from transmitted diseases to the society.
• Collects data from the society in regards of the health cases and upload them to the Kobo system.
• Attends the training about their duties to provide the services to the community.
• Supports the other medical team in their needs when needed.
• Sends reports to the doctor or the management of the NGO in regards of wrong society habits and participate in putting plans for defeating these habits.
• Communicates with the main influencer actors in the society for rallying the society to push towards the correct habits implementations.

 

Knowledge and Experience:

• A bachelor’s’ degree (Health Field or community field) or Similar.
• Minimum experience of 1 year in relevant jobs.
• Excellent verbal and written Arabic and English communication skills.
• Good skills in MS Office (Excel, Word, and PowerPoint) and e-mail.
• Prior work experience with NGOs is a plus.
