Construction of Two Livestock Health and Welfare Centers

TECHNICAL SPECIFICATIONS

Within the scope of “Construction of Livestock Health and Welfare Centers”, One in Aydoğmuş neighborhood of Güneysınır district, one in Çatören neighborhood of Akören district of Konya Province n2 similar facilities will be established. In the facilities, shearing, parasite spraying, vaccination, weighing and loading-unloading works of sheep and goats will be carried out.


SPECIAL CONDITIONS

  • The duration of the work is 60 calendar days.
  • The Contractor shall submit the work program to the Management within 5 (five) working days from the site delivery. All processes, including quantity revisions and approval, material procurement times and approvals, will be described in detail in the work program.
  • No transportation costs (transports to be made for material supply, horizontal or vertical transportations within the facility, etc.) will be paid for any production within the scope of this contract.
  • A civil engineer with at least 5 years of experience will be employed as the site supervisor.
  • Crew and Machine-Equipment
    • 2 Iron Joinery and Welding Teams (will consist of 2 masters and 4 non-skilled workers)
    • 2 pieces of JCB Type Bucket
    • 2 Pickup Truck
    • 2 Welding Machines
    • 2 Water Tanks
  • For each location, one-way signs, 150×100 cm in size, with two legs and at least 50 cm deep to the ground, will be fixed with concrete. Sign designs will be made by the Management and no payment will be made for the signs.
  • The contractor shall inform the control engineer before starting the material productions in the factory or workshop. Material control will be carried out at the factory when the control engineer deems it appropriate. Materials that are not deemed appropriate by the control engineer will not be used in the construction.
  • All of the painting stages (preparation, anticorrosion and epoxy painting) of profile manufacturing in the workshop will be photographed and presented to the control engineer.
  • The Contractor shall prepare a material approval form in the format given by the Administration and submit the TSE and quality certificates of all kinds of materials to be used in the construction to the control engineer before starting work.
  • Progress payments are issued within the first 5 (five) working days of each month. The test result reports described in the relevant standards for concrete, steel and other materials will be included in the progress payment annexes.
  • For the backfilling (insides of buildings, inside ramps, sides of large poles etc.) requested by the Administration, the material of appropriate quality from the excavation will be selected and compacted using a compactor. No additional payment shall be made to the contractor for this work.
  • Electrical works, which are not seen in the projects and site lists, but which are required to be made technically for the operation of the system, will be made by the contractor company without any additional cost.
  • Paddock locks, hinges, etc., all kinds of auxiliary elements, etc., which are not included in the unit price scale. (even if they are not metal) payment is made by weighing over the profile weights.
