Context:
Under the general guidance of the Chief of Mission COM and Head of the Returns and Recovery Unit, overall supervision of the DTM Coordinator and direct supervision of the National Database Officer, the Web Developer is responsible for the following:
Core Functions / Responsibilities:
- 1. Manage/monitor the DTM website and maintain optimal website performance.
- 2. Develop and design new content for the DTM websi
- 3. Develop, design, test, and deploy submission viewer web portal.
- 4. Analyze, model, visualize, and publish data using data visualization frameworks (such as Highcharts). Creating dashboards and interactive reports using BI platforms (such as Microsoft Power BI).
- 5. Create and develop tables, views, functions, SQL queries and stored procedures to retrieve and manipulate information for reporting purposes.
- 6. Support the gathering, management, storing and sharing of data, and support the development of data collection tool (ODK).
- 7. Develop new or revise existing web-based tools/systems as requested by the different teams; Establish and guide the website’s technical architecture.
- 8. Assist with IOM ICT data standards compliance and best practices to facilitate integration
between systems and platforms.
- 9. Perform proper backup, restore, data validation, and security procedures of source code of the new DTM website to ensure data integrity and availability.
- 10. Ensure data security and consistency of online applications.
- 11. Staying up to date with new trends and advancements in web developmen

Qualifications.
Education
- University degree in Information Management, Computer Science, or a related field from an accredited academic institution with 4 years of relevant professional experience; or
- High school degree in the above fields or related field from an accredited academic institution with 6 years of relevant professional experience
Experience
- At least 3 years of experience using some or all of the following tools: Excel, Microsoft Visual
Studio (ASP .NET C#), Php, and MySQL, SQL server.
- Experience with using PowerBI, Highcharts, and InDesign is an advantage.
- Experience in Information Management, management and coordination of information flows, data management including collection, storing, processing, and analyzing data to generate information products.
- Experience in managing data entry and maintenance.
- Ability to work independently or with minimal supervision. Languages
- English, Kurdish and Arabic are required.
- Any other language is an advantage.

IOM has a policy of zero tolerance of sexual exploitation and abuse (SEA) by IOM staff members and the employees or any other persons engaged and controlled by IOM Contractors. The staff members and all contract type holders shall protect against and prevent sexual exploitation and abuse (PSEA).
