We are seeking to add a talented Dental Hygienist to our team who is passionate about patient-centered medical care. We offer flexible schedules, competitive salaries and a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualified Candidates:

• Have or are willing to obtain an unrestricted license to practice dental hygiene in the Commonwealth of Virginia
• Comprehensive knowledge of primary dental hygiene care in outpatient settings
• Knowledge of the principles and practice of modern dental hygiene as related to public health organizations and community health programs
• Must recognize and understand the prevalent stressors and their impact on the patient populations in the community health center primary care settings
• Must be able to creatively work with the Dental Director as well as other health care professionals from a variety of disciplines to achieve maximal productivity and programmatic effectiveness
• Preference will be given to those who are bi-lingual in Spanish, Arabic or Kurdish
• Cannot be sanctioned under Medicaid or Medicare.

HCHC has locations in the Harrisonburg-Rockingham County area. This region is part of the beautiful Shenandoah Valley. Home to the Shenandoah National Park, Blueridge Parkway and Skyline Drive. Harrisonburg, Rockingham County and surrounding areas offer access to many outdoor activities including hiking, camping, fishing, and cycling. The area is home to James Madison University, Eastern Mennonite University and Bridgewater College. For those with a passion for food, historic downtown Harrisonburg is home to Virginia’s first Culinary District.
