Scope of the Job Position’s Objective
The objective of the position is to organize and control supply of equipment, material, and services for the Company to ensure reliable and uninterrupted operations, maintenance, capital construction, repair of the Pipeline System facilities
Main Functions
The Director for Procurement manages the following business units:
1. Procurement Section: Organization and control of delivery quantities and qualities for the Company facilities; Contract Management of contracts and Purchase Orders for Company facilities.
2. Logistics Service: Organization of prompt and high-quality logistic services to support the Company’s activities.
3. Warehouse Management Service: Organization and control of the Company’s warehousing facilities in the process of receipt, storage, issue, conservation of the Company’s materials, equipment, spares and other.
Job Requirements
Education
• BSc Degree or Higher Education in the related field
Language Skills
• English fluent
• Kurdish fluent
• Russian preferable
Work Experience
• Min. 10 years of relevant business experience in procurement and logistics management; out of which 5 or more years of managerial experience preferably in petroleum companies.
• Relevant experience working in global companies and multicultural environment. Particular Middle East experience is a plus.
• Experience and strong skills in negotiating and interaction with the State regulatory authorities, vendors, and suppliers.
• Experience in budgets management.
Computer Skills
• Proficiency in using standard office software such as MS Windows and MS Office.
• Experience in working with ERP systems and applied procurement and inventory management software.
