We are now recruiting for a District Sales Manager for Iraq, North Region based in Erbil. This is a unique opportunity to work for a world leader in diabetes care, haemophilia, growth hormones therapy and obesity.
About the Department
Novo Nordisk Iraq has a history of selling and supply to Iraq since 1968. We are located in our office in Baghdad and employ 35 plus engaged people, all dedicated to support our affiliate outperform competition and overcome challenges related to Human Resources, Marketing, Market Access, Medical, Regulatory, Quality, Finance, IT and Legal.
Novo Nordisk is looking for a sales professional to take up the position of District Sales Manager based in Erbil.You will lead report to the Head of Sales, Diabetes & Biopharm and will be responsible for the promotion of Novo Nordisk Diabetes and Biopharm portfolio by managing the regional field force employees. As a people manager, you will coach, supervise, motivate and take care of individual developments of the reporting team in order to reach their business objectives and represent Novo Nordisk vision, values and commitment in daily contact with customers. The main cities in the North area are; Erbil, Sulumania, Duhok, Kirkuk, Mosul
The Job
As a District Sales Manager, you will ensure district promotional activity plans are well prepared. You will plan and organize congress/symposium participations in the district. You will monitor customer needs in your area. You will evaluate 4 Medical Representatives’ performance in your region, and support their continuous development.
You will report of customer complaints and adverse events according to NN procedure by living Novo Nordisk values and applying Novo Nordisk way in daily work where “we never compromise on Quality and Business Ethics”
Qualifications
You hold a Bachelor’s Degree in Pharmaceutical Sciences and is registered before the Pharmacist of Syndicate in Iraq. You have a people management experience or capable of acting as a people manager. You possess solid professional qualifications and at least 5-year experience in pharmaceutical industry as sales representative or similar roles. Fluent in Arabic and English, Kurdish proficiency will be preferable on top. Willing to travel internally in all Iraqi regions and externally. Excellent communication and negotiation skills. Effective time management skills, ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously. Strong team player, innovative and initiator and demonstrate proactive thinking.
