Division 2 Arabic Teacher

Reporting directly to the school principal, the Arabic Teacher’s responsibilities will include but not be limited to:

Duties and Responsibilities:
Prepare yearly lesson plan, based on each student’s level.

Maintain appropriate standards of behavior, mutual respect, and safety within the classroom.

Managing a classroom of students, developing lessons, writing letters to parents, handling parent teacher conferences, and preparing report cards to communicate improvement of students.

Prepared lesson plans by following the curriculum guidelines and accommodating teaching methods.

Interpreted student needs, and consulted with students to provide solutions in a fast paced classroom.

Performed duties, such as: evaluating pupils’ academic and social growth, maintaining appropriate records and progress reports, and communicating regularly with parents regarding each student’s progress.

Aid in class lesson plans, class lectures, school functions, and school operations.

Recording daily attendance for students.

Regularly follow up with parents and guardians.

Evaluating student on a regular basis.

Testing and marking students

Preparing progress report for students.

Implement our school’s moto iRise, iLearn, iDiscover into lesson plans.

Education and Qualifications:
1 to 2 years of previous in teaching Arabic in a classroom setting

Must have solid and complete knowledge of classic Arabic

Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions in written, oral, or diagram form

Ability to manage classrooms and any situations that arises

Ability to thrive in a team as well as work independently

Organized, reliable, and highly dedicated

Knowledgeable in Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Word, Google Sheets)
