NCA opened its country office in northern Iraq in 2014 in response to the displacement crisis resulting from the invasion by ISIS.

NCA Iraq is implementing a Peacebuilding and gender-based violence (GBV) program designed to facilitate the recovery and reintegration of survivors into their communities and challenge the cultural norms that perpetuate GBV.

 

Information about the position: NCA is seeking Driver with the car for responsible NCA daily work movement in Sinjar and around if required.

 

Information about the contract: This is a Service contract with a duration of 1 and a half months.  Possibility of contract extension depending upon availability of funding.

Information about the position: NCA is seeking Driver with the car for responsible NCA daily work movement in Sinjar and around if required.

 

Information about the contract: This is a Service contract with a duration of 1 and a half months.  Possibility of contract extension depending upon availability of funding.

• Responsible for all movements for NCA daily work Sinjar -Ninawa side or in between that, by using his own car. From Sunday to Thursday each day contains 8 and half hours with 30 minutes of lunch break.
• Ability to work on a weekend if it needs as dictated by Logistics or Country Director and will be compensated.
• The driver is responsible for car maintenance, washing to be clean inside and outside, Fuel and it should be full and ready every time for long movements.
• The driver is responsible for the car, its cargo, and the passengers. No alcohol or drugs or illegal items are to be taken by the driver prior to or while on duty.
• The driver will always follow NCA Security Standard Operating Procedures relating to the safety and security for themselves, their passengers, cargo, and other road users, the driver will follow communication schedules dictated by the NCA Security Coordinator
• It is the responsibility of the Driver to always ensure the safety of the passengers. Ensure that all passengers are using seatbelts.
• The driver should carry out daily vehicle checks to ensure that the vehicle is in safe working order. Should there be a fault with the vehicle or the need for repair the driver should inform his line manager immediately.
• The driver will ensure that all records and vehicle logbooks are kept up to date according to fleet officer requirements.

 

Qualifications:

• Demonstrate safe driving practices
• Able to follow verbal directions, read maps, follow GPS
• Able to work well alone
• Reliable and punctual with dedicated professionalism to job and duties
• Excellent time management skills
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
