Associates Degree or 60+ college credit hours.
Ability to speak Arabic or Chaldean.
High degree of initiative and ability to adapt to new tasks.
Demonstrated judgment, communication and cooperation with staff, students and the public.
Ability to maintain discipline.
Must have the ability and motivation to form a positive working relationship with a variety of professional staff with diverse teaching styles.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Will provide in-classroom translation/clarification to student of lectures and assignments when necessary.
Provide feedback to teacher regarding student difficulties and progress.
Assist teacher/counselor with communication to parents when necessary.
Work with small groups of students on classroom assignments under teacher supervision.
Proficiency in the use of computers, Google Online and the Internet.
