Access aid foundation (AAF) is seeking for a field officer in Omar Al-Sofee, Tuz KhourMatu. The field officer will implement and monitor the project. In addition to, supervise and lead the team on the field, dealing with all the requirements tasks that will be needed on the field.

 

 

Reporting structure

For day to day, operational management requirements the Field Officer reports directly to the AAF Health Project Manager or any other designated person appointed/instructed by the PM.

 

 

Responsibilities

  • Ensure the good quality of the health services and the implementation of the project.
  • Lead the monitoring procedure on the field by follow up day to day and observe the activities in the field.
  • Meet all the deliverables and the dead line of the milestone which are set in the project time table. Ensure that all the stages in the implementation procedure are going well.
  • Responsible of MMC plan, and provide monthly plan to Health Project Manager.
  • Supervise and support the site visits, arrange and manage for all the field activities with the Health Project Manage.
  • Support and manage all of the field visits by our main staff, and donors staff.
  • Reporting daily to Health Project Manager, providing monthly reports, and Managing the data system by ensure the data entry procedure.
  • Responsible of the communication documents such as, videos, photos, successful stories, and any other needed documents.
  • Assist in the training that will be held for the staff and the medical parties.
  • Public Relation Management, by establishing the relation between other organizations in the area, by database them and help to develop referral system internally and externally. In addition, to insure that the referral process is going well and report all the referred cases.
  • Responsible of the governmental relation in the area, and providing any official letter needed.
  • Performance management for the field staff, provide reports about it to take the appropriate action, and provide all the needed documents related to the staff (official papers, attendance sheet, other documents).
  • Logistics Management, responsible of all AAF equipment in the field, apply for Purchase Request any other needed requests, and provide logistic field needs.
  • arrange and manage all the meetings in the field.

 

 

Qualifications & preferred skills

  • Health professional with a postgraduate qualification in public health or equivalent field experience. Any Management experiences will be desirable.
  • At least One years of experience working in the Health Field/Management in a humanitarian/recovery context. 
  • Ability to effectively use computer software including Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel.
  • Good in spoken and written English, and Arabic is a must.
  • Familiarity with the medical environment in Iraq.
  • Able to priorities clearly, oversee multiple tasks and multiple projects, set clear objectives for staff and delegate.
  • Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
  • Act as a reliable and supportive team member.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Problem-solving and decision-making aptitude.
  • Experience with recruitment and procurement.
