Administration, HR, Logistics & Security: Payroll; keeping staff electronic and paper files updated and secure; recruitment; country induction; Erbil office management and internal audit process for Iraq and Afghanistan; ensuring that the procurement of goods and services is carried out within Tearfund and Donor regulations/requirements; providing support to Tearfund visitors to Iraq including preparing visas and work permits; vehicle log book maintenance; assessing security and other risks to Tearfund in Iraq and Afghanistan and providing monthly and ad hoc briefings; working with the Cluster Security Advisor to develop, update, and implement country-level health, safety, and security plans.
The ideal candidate will have:
- A degree and/or equivalent qualification in a support function (Finance; HR/Admin; Logs)
- Extensive post qualification experience
- Previous experience in a similar role and working with an INGO.
- Experience in Accounting/Treasury management
- Managing cash books and paying petty transactions experience
- Worked with accounting, HR and Finance Policies & Procedures
- Experience of external representation and engagement with stakeholders of different levels including liaising with government authorities in Iraq/KRI
- Procurement and Logistics experience
- Experience in gathering and analysing security information and recommending appropriate actions
- Payroll management
- Procurement experience
- Fluent in spoken and written Arabic and English
Please note: This role will be based in Erbil, Iraq. Applicants must possess a valid passport/visa stating the right to live and work in Iraq.
Salary package: Basic salary 41,942,880 IQD
