Health Programme Manager Job Responsibilities

Overall Job Description:

 

Responsible for overseeing the implementation of Health Programme projects and protocols at KSC. Must provide a supervisory and supportive role to Health programme staff at KSC, as well as coordinate efforts between other KSC departments or relevant third parties. Reports directly to Director of Programmes.

 

Job Duties

 

• Supervise Health programme staff to correctly implement services to a high standard
• Plan programme initiatives and activities in a timely manner
• Monitor health programme budget spending
• Plan, manage, monitor, and evaluate projects and follow-up with team members where required
• Plan and organise events such as Health conferences or medical team visits.
• Maintain office correspondence, such as responding to emails in accurate and timely manner
• Oversee the referral, management and follow up of KSC health cases
• Support in the drafting of health project proposals for donors or grants.
• Coordinate and liase with international and national health services
• Problem solve and initiate new projects and ideas.
• Network with relevant governmental departments, donors, NGOs, and other stakeholders
• Coordinate KSC services with national health clusters and external parties.
• Represent KSC in relevant meetings, events and activities.
• Conduct information gathering or monitoring field visits to public health projects across Kurdistan Region
• Provide regular reporting to KSC Director of Programmes
• Maintain a strong working relationship with other internal departments, including media, programmes, purchasing, finance.

• University Degree
• English and Kurdish fluency (Arabic is a bonus)
• Minimum 5-10 yrs Experience in the health sector or equivalent
• Computer fluency – Microsoft Office,
