Education:
• Technical Diploma or university degree from a recognized institution
Language:
• Fluency in English (written, reading and oral)
• Fluency in Turkish (written and oral)
You must provide evidence of your English language ability as follows:
• A recent language test score from IELTS showing each score at 7 or above*, or
• Proof of graduation from an English language medium university
*IELTS TRF examination date must be within the past three years.
Experience:
• A minimum of 2* years of demonstrated recent experience working in an office environment, with a high degree of comfort and familiarity using work processing software (MS Word, Excel, etc).
* 2 years of demonstrated recent experience is defined as a period of at least two consecutive years within the last seven years.
OR
• A minimum of 1** year of demonstrated recent experience working in the immigration or consular section of a Canadian Embassy or consulate, a foreign embassy or consulate, a Visa Application Centre, or working in case management in an International Organization.
**1 year of demonstrated recent experience is defined as a period of at least one continuous year within the last seven years.
Rated Requirements
Candidates must also meet the rated requirements shown below, which will be assessed through any of the following: written test, oral communication, interview and reference checks.

• Experience using Global Case Management System (GCMS)
• Ability and willingness to work overtime (compensated)
• Annual leave dates may be restricted due to operational needs
• Ability and willingness to undergo training
• Adhere to Canada’s Code on Values & Ethics and IRCC’s code of conduct

• The results of this competition may also be used to establish an eligibility list of staff for similar indeterminate, terms, acting and emergency contracts at the Embassy of Canada in Ankara which might arise in the 12 months following the completion of this competition.
