Logistics Advisor in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia

Overview

GovCIO is currently hiring for a Logistics Advisor to provide supply, logistics and service support managerial and advisory support to the Royal Saudi Naval Forces (RSNF). This position will be located in Riyadh, KSA and will be an onsite position.

Responsibilities

Provide strategic insights and recommendations to optimize logistical operations within the RSNF. This role operates at a higher echelon, addressing complex logistical challenges and supporting decision-making processes at the senior leadership level.

• Analyze existing logistical processes and identify areas for improvement to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.

• Provide strategic advice and recommendations to the Chief of Supply and Logistics (CoSLog) on logistical matters concerning procurement, inventory management, and distribution.

• Conduct research and analysis to support decision-making processes related to logistical planning, resource allocation, and risk management.

• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to develop and implement logistics strategies aligned with organizational objectives and priorities

• Monitor and evaluate logistical performance metrics to assess implemented strategies’ effectiveness and identify optimization opportunities.

• Stay abreast of industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies in logistics to continuously enhance logistical capabilities within the RSNF.

Qualifications

Shall have a bachelor’s degree with 2-5 years experience

Minimum of four (4) years of direct military experience in the associated functional tasks – OR – ten (10) years of combined military and civilian experience in the associated functional tasks.

-Shall have professional knowledge of Navy management theories, policies, principles, procedures, and techniques.

-Shall be a United States citizen or Saudi national.

Posted Pay Range

The posted pay range, if referenced, reflects the range expected for this position at the commencement of employment, however, base pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, education, experience, and internal equity. The total compensation package for this position may also include other compensation elements, to be discussed during the hiring process. If hired, employee will be in an “at-will position” and the GovCIO reserves the right to modify base salary (as well as any other discretionary payment or compensation program) at any time, including for reasons related to individual performance, GovCIO or individual department/team performance, and market factors.

USD $53,770.00 – USD $89,000.00 /Yr.
